CHECK THAT RESPECTS PRIVACY

If your Feeld match shows their face, you can check whether it belongs to someone else by searching that face on the public web. If they show no face, there is nothing to search, and that is a normal privacy choice on Feeld rather than a warning sign. Either way, how the person behaves tells you as much as any search.

THE SHORT ANSWER

Where a face is shown, screenshot it and run it through Google Lens, Yandex Images and then a face search. If the same face appears under another name, the profile is a Feeld fake profile using borrowed photos. If nothing turns up, that is not proof the person is real. Discretion must be respected: the aim is your safety, never exposing someone.

DISCRETION ON FEELD IS NORMAL

Feeld is used by people exploring open and alternative relationships, and by couples. Many members are deliberately discreet. Some keep their face off their profile entirely, or share it only once trust exists. People have good reasons: work, family, or simply wanting their private life to stay private.

A profile with no face cannot be face-searched, and it should not be treated as suspicious on that basis alone. If you want reassurance, ask for a short video call before meeting. That respects their choice and still gives you a real-time check.

WHAT IS PUBLIC AND WHAT IS PRIVATE ON FEELD

Feeld profiles sit inside the app, behind a login. Search engines do not index them, and no outside tool can browse them or search members by name. Nobody can search inside Feeld, including Trace. Private photos shared in the app stay in the app.

What you can check is a face you have been shown. If it was borrowed from someone's public social media or a model's portfolio, that original is on the open web.

1. Search any distinctive text. Fake profiles often reuse the same bio across several accounts.

These tools search the image file, so a cropped or filtered picture can slip past them.

HOW A FACE SEARCH HELPS

Trace is a reverse face search over the publicly accessible web. You upload one photograph of a face and it returns public pages and profiles where that same face appears, each with a similarity score and a link you can open.

Trace matches the face, not the file, so it can find the same person in a completely different photograph. If a profile uses pictures of a real person who has other public photos, a face search can show that.

A result is a similarity score and never a statement of identity. Relatives, twins and lookalikes can score highly, so open each link and judge it yourself. Trace returns no names, addresses or phone numbers, only public URLs and a number.

There is no account to create. A scan without credits shows a blurred preview of what was found before you pay, and one credit unlocks one search. Credits never expire and nothing renews.

FAKE COUPLES AND "UNICORN" PROFILES

A common Feeld scam uses a fake couple profile, often presented as looking for a third person, sometimes called a unicorn. The photos show an attractive pair. The goal is usually one of two things:

• Collecting photos. The profile asks for intimate pictures early, then goes quiet or turns them into leverage.
• Asking for money. A travel fee, a hotel deposit, a gift card or a paid "verification" before meeting.

Real couples on Feeld usually understand caution. They will generally accept a video call with both of them present. A pair that never appears together on camera is worth questioning.

RED FLAGS ON FEELD

• Pressure to share intimate photos before you have spoken properly.
• A quick push to WhatsApp, Telegram or another app.
• Any request for money, gift cards or payment to "prove" you are real.
• Photos that all look professional, or that belong to someone else when you search them.
• A refusal of any video call, combined with urgency to meet or pay.

IF YOU ARE THREATENED

Never share intimate photos before trust exists. If someone already has images and threatens to send them to your contacts unless you pay, do not pay. Payment rarely ends the demands. Stop replying, keep evidence (screenshots of the profile, the chat and any payment requests), report the account to Feeld, and report the threat to your local police or national fraud-reporting service. If money has been sent, contact your bank straight away.

HOW TO READ A CLEAN OR EMPTY RESULT

If the face appears under a different name on a public profile, stop, report the profile and share nothing further.

If the result is empty, it means nothing was found on the part of the public web Trace can reach. It is not evidence that the person is genuine, and it is not evidence that they have no online presence. On Feeld, where many people are careful about their footprint, an empty result is common and unremarkable.

VERIFY, DON'T STALK

Is Feeld safe? It can be, when members treat each other's privacy with care. A face search belongs in that picture only as a safety check on someone you are about to trust. It is never a way to find out who a discreet member is, tell anyone about their use of the app, or track them outside it.
