**TRACE WATCH · $12 A YEAR**

# IS SOMEONE SEARCHING FOR MY FACE?

Now you can know. Put **your own face** on watch and Trace sends you a Telegram message when someone runs a search with a photo that matches you — within a minute, and without ever telling you who, because it does not know. Once a month it searches the public web for your face again and tells you if a new page has appeared. One payment, twelve months, nothing renews.

## SHORT ANSWER

**Trace Watch tells you two things about your own face: when it is searched, and when it is found.** You add one photo. Every search run on Trace is compared with it, and a near-certain match sends you a Telegram message — that a search happened, never who ran it. Every 30 days Trace runs a full search with your photo and reports only pages it has not seen before. **$12 for twelve months**; the photo is deleted 30 days after the watch ends.

## THE TWO ALERTS

- **Someone searched for you.** Every search on Trace starts by measuring the face in the uploaded photo. That measurement is compared with the faces on watch. If it matches yours with near-certain similarity — the same 90-plus band the [search results](https://traceaifacescan.app/) call “very likely the same person” — you get a message within a minute. The bar is deliberately high: a looser match would wake you for strangers who merely resemble you.

- **A new page shows your face.** Once every 30 days Trace runs a full search with your photo — the same search a credit buys, across the same public sources — and compares the results with everything it has reported before. Only pages it has never seen count as news, so the same three profiles do not come back as “three new pages” every month. A month with nothing new still gets a one-line all-clear.

## HOW TO SET IT UP

1. **Start the watch.** Open [Trace Watch](https://traceaifacescan.app/panel/watch) in the panel and pay once — $12 for twelve months, by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Telegram Stars. There is no account to create beyond the one the panel gives you.

2. **Add one photo of your face.** Clear, recent, looking at the camera. The face is found and framed automatically in your browser; tick the box confirming it is you. The cropped square goes to Trace's own face engine, which derives a numeric signature from it.

3. **Connect Telegram.** One tap opens the Trace bot; press Start and the chat is linked to your account. No payment is involved and no phone number is shared with us — Telegram delivers the message, we only hold the chat's numeric ID.

## WHO IT IS FOR

- **People whose photos have been taken before.** If your pictures have ended up on a fake dating profile or a scam account once, the question is whether it will happen again. The monthly check watches for the new page; the search alert catches the moment someone checks the stolen photo against the web.

- **People who are visible by profession.** Creators, agents, consultants, anyone whose face is their storefront. Knowing where the face turns up — and when someone is looking — is simply part of the job now.

- **People who just want to know.** Most watches will be quiet most of the time. That quiet is the point: a monthly “nothing new” is a small, regular confirmation that your face is where you left it.

## WHAT IT DOES NOT DO

- **It does not identify the person who searched.** Trace knows that a search was run with a matching photo; it does not know who is behind the account, and it would not tell you if it did. An alert is a fact about an event, not about a person.

- **It does not watch other search engines.** The search alert covers searches made on Trace. For the wider web, the monthly check does the looking.

- **It does not watch in real time.** New pages are found once a month, not the hour they go up. If you need an answer today, a regular [search](https://traceaifacescan.app/) gives it in about a minute.

- **It does not remove anything.** Finding a page is the first step; what to do about it is yours. If what you want is to disappear from Trace's own index, that is a separate, free request at [remove my photos](https://traceaifacescan.app/remove-my-photos).

## WHAT IS KEPT, AND FOR HOW LONG

The cropped square you upload and the numeric face signature derived from it, for the length of the watch and 30 days after it ends — the grace period exists so that renewing does not mean uploading again. Stopping the watch from the panel deletes both at once; so does deleting your account. Alerts are text only: no photo, no list of addresses. The details are in the [privacy policy](https://traceaifacescan.app/privacy/).

## $12 FOR TWELVE MONTHS

One payment. Nothing renews, nothing to cancel, no credits used by the monthly check — it is included. Buying again adds a further twelve months to the end of the current period. Pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Telegram Stars; card prices exclude VAT where your country charges it. Within 14 days, before the first monthly check has run, the payment is refundable in full.

## FAQ

### Can I find out who searched for my face?

No, and neither can we. Trace knows that a search was run with a photo matching your face; it does not know who the person behind the account is, and it would not tell you if it did. The alert says that a search happened, when, and how closely the photo matched.

### Does Trace Watch see searches made on other sites?

No. The search alert covers searches run on Trace. The monthly check is different: it searches the public web — social profiles, forums, news, image hosts — for pages that show your face, the same way a paid Trace search does.

### What does Trace keep, and for how long?

The cropped square of your face that you upload and a numeric face signature derived from it. Both are kept while the watch is active and for 30 days after it ends, so renewing does not mean uploading again. Stopping the watch from the panel deletes both immediately. Alerts contain text only — never your photo, never a list of addresses.

### Why Telegram and not email?

Trace accounts have no email address; that is a design decision, not an oversight. Telegram is the one channel we can reach you on without collecting more about you. Connecting takes one tap and no payment: the panel opens our bot, you press Start, and the bot links the chat to your account.

### Is it a subscription?

No. It is one payment of $12 for twelve months. Nothing renews on its own and there is nothing to cancel. Buying again adds a further twelve months to the end of the current period.

### How often does the monthly check run, and does it use my credits?

Once every 30 days, starting a month after you add your photo. It is a full Trace search with your photo and uses no credits — it is included in the price. Only pages the watch has not seen before count as news; a month with nothing new still sends a short all-clear message.

**Responsible use.** Trace Watch is built for your own face. An alert says that a search happened or that a public page exists; it is not proof of who did what. Do not use it to make decisions about employment, housing, credit or anything else the law protects.
